Having spent the day whizzing around archaeological sites and the town of Navplion, we got back to BV in the early evening. The supermarket was still open so we re-victualled and considered our next move.
We have to be in Naxos on 20th July to collect Charlotte and there’s still a lot of the Argolic Gulf that we haven’t seen. But with the wind set to come from the north the next day, we decided to head south to Monemvasia and then work our way back north when the wind goes southerly later in the week. So, with a plan set in blancmange, we programmed the alarms for an early-ish start and hit the sack – it’s weary work all this sightseeing!
